The Montane Shrublands
The Montane Shrublands are regions above the treeline commonly known as the Alpine Tundra. Where the conditions are drier, one would find the Montane Shrublands averaging at about 17 inches of rain per year. The avergae temperature is 85-10 degrees through the whole year. The Montane Shublands are located at about 5,500 feet to 10,000 feet above sea level. Some locations of the Montane Shrublands are Southwest of Denver & Northwest of Castle Rock, which is Roxborough State Park. (Go West of Castle rock and drag the person to there.)
